Adults OnlyWe love little people, but our adventures are designed for adults.
Small GroupsThe maximum size for our groups is 8 people so there’s no jockeying for position to hear what your guide is saying. If your group is bigger, in destinations other than the Galapagos, we’ll even assign an extra guide to make sure everyone is taken care of. If your group is bigger and wants to travel to the Galapagos, let’s chat so we can see what might be possible. We can definitely assign an extra guide, but we’re a little constrained due to the capacity of planes and boats.

Culturally AwareWe want to enable you to travel deeply, not just widely. This is why we include an exclusive 1-hour cultural briefing before you go. (And an optional debriefing when you get back.) This briefing enriches your experience by giving you a way to understand why things are done the way they are done and fosters a deeper connection when you interact with locals. We enjoying lighting the flame of cross-cultural curiosity.
Behind the Scenes ExperiencesYou can probably hit the highlights of any destination with just about any tour company. We, however, like to weave special experiences into the fabric of our adventures that not everyone gets to do to showcase the cultural heritage, folklore, gastronomy, local landmarks, and wildlife. We are delighted when you are delighted.
Active AdventuresWhen you’re on vacation, you want to be out exploring and discovering, not watching life pass by from the windows of a tour bus. Our itineraries include a range of activities that keep your mind engaged and your body moving without making you feel like you need a vacation from your vacation when you get home. That said, we like to make sure that enough creature comforts, like soft beds, hot showers and steaming hot coffee at breakfast, are included.
Feel Like a Close Friend Coming for a VisitWe never want you to feel like an anonymous tourist just passing through. Or worse yet, a dollar sign. So, we pick you up at the airport and drop you back off at the end of the trip. We take you to the must-see sights and the off-the-beaten path local joints, too. And, we introduce you to local people so you can see how they live, learn what their day-to-day life is like, what challenges they face, and what they are most proud of.
Local Community Support (Especially for Women & Girls)We believe in the positive impact tourism can have on local communities. This is why we work with local guides and drivers, stay in locally-owned boutique hotels, eat in locally-owned restaurants, and support local community projects (especially those that help women and girls, whenever possible.)
Worry FreeWe’ve got all the details covered from making last minute arrangements to dealing with the inevitable hiccups that are part of running a multi-day itinerary with lots of moving parts. So, all you have to do is show up ready to have fun.
Sustainability ConsciousnessWe are well aware that any type of travel can be hard on our home, earth. Which is why we continue to work with our local partners to build more sustainable practices into our daily operations.
